From the history of the Club
According to historical sources and available information, it is considered the origin of TJ Slavoj Boleráz in 1928, in 2018 we celebrated the 90th anniversary of the founding of our club.
In 1933, Ignác Deutsch was the chairman, Žigmund Bróža, deputy, František Matušek, second deputy, Jozef Slamka, managing director, and Armin Weiss, treasurer. These are just official records.
The beginnings of sports life in Boleráz date back to 1927, when the shareholders of the starch factory set up a tennis court for moments of relaxation. Around that time, technicians began playing football. In 1928, football was also played on a makeshift pitch near the church. Ferdinand Loskot, a locksmith apprentice, Ján Banci and Jozef Hluch - bakers' apprentices had bicycles at that time and attended matches in Trnava. A few boys fell on the ball and the first team was formed. In addition to the initiators, the team consisted of: Mikuláš Kelemen, Cyprián Čavara, Zdeněk Justich, František Danišovič, Vendel Vanák, Vendel Pobiecky, Ján Hudec, Gašpar Hudec, Jozef Hudec, Pavol Kitta, Ján Danišovič, Laco Franta, Karol Pristach, Michal Hiner, Emanuel Weiss and others. It must be said here that some players were also from the surrounding villages, where football was not played at that time. Each player had to take care of the basic equipment himself. When the game was technically mastered and harmonized, the Boleráz football players arranged a sports meeting with ŠK Neštich at the suggestion of the fitters from the factory, where players from Smolenice also played. Before the match, both elevens had to pay 2 crowns each, knowing that the sum of 44 crowns would go to the winner. Boleráz won 4: 0. One week later, Boleráz played with the Coburg Trnava players. It turned out that the victory and the money went to Trnava. Before the 1929 and 1930 football seasons, players organized fundraisers. Green and white jerseys and other basic equipment were bought from the money thus obtained. While in 1929 out of fourteen matches, they won two, drew one and lost the rest, in 1932 they recorded 28 wins in thirty matches.
